WinTag is the interface that simplifies the work of transferring the TAGS from an OPC Server such as WINCC to any existing Database on the market such as: Oracle, SQL Server, SyBase, DB2, Informix, InterBase, FoxPro, Access, Paradox, dBASE, MySQL, ODBC and the Internet. It is an Interface that offers the alternative of taking those TAGS to your company's own Database, such as those mentioned above.
Installation and License Process
64-bit (x64) operating systems are specifically designed to handle programs and hardware that use the 64-bit architecture. However, using a 64-bit operating system does not in any way prevent installing and running programs that use the 32-bit (x86) architecture. Installing a 32-bit program on a 64-bit operating system is very easy. All you have to do is select the Program Files (x86) folder to install 32-bit applications. A physical 32-bit processor cannot use 64-bit software, since it is designed for much more powerful computers, but the same is not the case with computers with 64-bit architecture, which have no problem meeting the minimum requirements of 32-bit programs, although to do so they need an emulator that "speaks the same language". This emulator present in 64-bit operating systems ensures that a 32-bit application "thinks" that it is being used on a system with its architecture, and can be used without problems. This is where the two extra folders that the 64-bit version of Windows has come into play, since they are used to control and order the programs compatible with each architecture: The Programs File folder and the Programs File folder (x86)

readcarefully: Follow instructions faithfully. WinTag is a 32 bit application. WinTag must be installed on the same computer where the OPC Server you want to access to obtain its Tags is installed. If you like you can install WinTag in the next path : C:\wintag Download the WinTag Installer The file is called wtinstal.exe

Descarga desde Mega download
Descarga desde Box download
Descarga desde Google Drive download

Then run it and follow the steps. Finally go to the folder where you installed the WinTag application and run the
registrar.exe file with administrative permissions. For that, right click on the file and select from the menu the option "run as administrator". Then press the [Register DLLS] button as shown in the following image. Clever...!!! You can now run the WinTag.exe file. When you do this, you will find the [Get License] Button. Copy the PIN number that appears in the Title of the upper WinTag Window. Example the image below. WinTag - 2117468900. Copy it and send it to our WhatsApp contact +506 70396600 We will send you back the valid License for you to use the WinTag application without restrictions.

Pay Attention: As long as you DO NOT obtain a valid License, WinTag will operate for free ... !!! (student version) for the first 5 Tags. More than that amount, WinTag will run for 1 minute and will interrupt its execution requesting the License of your interest. The student version will be useful for your small personal projects. Possible Licenses are detailed in the next paragraph.

About Licenses::
After having downloaded, correctly executed the installation process described above and verified the functionality of the WinTag Interface, you will surely feel satisfied and interested in acquiring a valid License to continue running WinTag without restrictions.

Important note: The License is granted per computer. That is to say. WinTag will work with a valid license only for the equipment where its respective PIN was obtained. This leads us to lower prices considerably in your favor and benefit.

Important note: As long as you DO NOT obtain a valid License, WinTag will operate for free (student version) for the first 5 Tags. More than that amount, WinTag will run for 1 minute and will interrupt its execution requesting the License of your interest. The possible Licenses available are:

Grátis...!!! Student WinTag to manage 5 Tags Ideal for your small student project. DOES NOT PAY

WinTag for 10 Tags (variables) Value: $ 20

WinTag for 25 Tags (variables) Value: $ 50

WinTag for 50 Tags (variables) Value: $ 100

WinTag Unlimited Tags (variables) Value: $ 200beautiful but now i'm at work

What are Tags?
To better explain, we will start by explaining the concept of TAGS. These are plant process variables that assume a variable value at a given time. For example: vapor pressure, temperature of a juice, speed of a belt driven by motor, open or closed valves, amount of flow of some liquid, level of juice contained in a tank, etc.
.
Those Tags are stored in small industrial computers called PLCs. Within the PLC the program that governs the entire system and process is running. To extract the Tags from the PLC, proprietary programs from the same manufacturer as the PLC are used. An example of this type of program is WinCC from Siemens. Also SImatic-Net from the same company. Capable of extracting those Tags from the PLC and offering them to external applications. Our
WinTag Application connects to
WinCC and asks you about the values of each Tag. It acquires them and records them in a Destination Database Table, constantly refreshing their values every second.

What are OPC Servers ?

Today, to access the "memory variables of a PLC", each hardware manufacturer provides its respective software (OPC Server) for communication between the computer and the PLC. Companies such as Siemens, Allen Bradley, Omron, Cutler Hammer, Mitsubishi, Honeywell, Schneider (Modicon, SquareD, Telemecanique) offer the possibility of carrying out this communication through their respective OPC Servers. Let us remember that the signals from the sensors (field instruments) reach up to the PLC. Once the control logic for a PLC has been developed (for example with Siemens Step7 for S7-C7-M7 PLCs), we then proceed to configure a program called OPC Server. For our example we will use the graphing and opc WinCC server from the Siemens company, which has the function of accessing the PLC and asking it about the process variables (steam, steam, temperature, flow, speed, distance, etc.) saved within the.

WinTag simplifies the work of transferring from WINCC - Simatic Net and other OPC servers, all TAGS (variables that refer to memory addresses within PLCs of the Siemens simatic S7-200 and S7-300 family). Transferring data of pressure, weight, flow, level, vibration, temperature, metal and material detection, distance, speed, etc. to any existing Database on the market such as: Oracle, SQL Server, SyBase, DB2, Informix, InterBase, FoxPro, Access, Paradox, dBASE, MySQL, ODBC and Internet. It offers the alternative of taking those TAGS to your company's own Database, such as those mentioned above. From there, you can use the FoxBuilder Platform to design your own monitoring and control screens. Look at the following image:

Interesting Note...!!!

WinTag has a very particular characteristic. It consists of an intelligent control mechanism to detect the moment when you want to pass a new value to a Tag (variable) of the PLC. It is possible to "set" or pass new values to PLC Tags (variables) from your own personal Database. A Timer within WinTag constantly checks the Table called WTCambios to see if 1 record was set. That record contains the Tag Name and a New Value for it. WinTag takes that value and pushes it to the PLC

WinTag operates via ADO and is 100% reliable, fast and compatible with any version of WinCC from Siemens. It is an Application made to access the values of the WinCC Tag's and at the same time facilitate their sending to a Destination Table in any other Database. It will facilitate the work of sending the PLC process variables through short and long distances in your local network (LAN) or through the Internet (WAN) and gives you the right to manipulate the Tags and extend the possibilities of manipulating them to perform other calculations such as: graphs, analysis, projections, statistics, monitoring, supervision, etc..

The main function of WinTag is to work as a bridge, for example between WinCC and any other Database technology. It offers a simple and powerful alternative to place those TAGS at your complete reach, always keeping an updated copy of their values in your own Database or in that of your company. It is an Application made to access the values of the WinCC TAGS and facilitate their sending to a destination TABLE in any other Database. Simplify the work of transferring Tags from WinCC to any other Database.

Thanks to this, other programmers will be able to have their own "List of WinCC Tags" in their own personal Databases. From there, they will be able to design their own HMI monitoring screens with their preferred programming language or design tool such as Visual Basic, C ++, FoxPro, Delphi, and others. Or if you wish, you can use the complementary design tool called FoxBuilder Platform with which you can create your own HMI monitoring screens, and display them on all the computers in the factory or company.

Once the Tags are in your own Database, or your company, "you will have NO limits". You can manipulate them such as, for example, setting up your own web page showing the values of the WinCC Tags, or if you wish, you can use the complementary software FoxBuilder Platform, which allows you to design in a very easy and dynamic way, your own HMI screens with images and animations showing the processes in the plant. You can monitor: pressures, flows, temperatures, voids, weights, etc. from any factory computer. The WinTag application will be in charge of keeping an updated TABLE (called WTTAGS) located in the DATABASE of your Company. Said TABLE is constantly refreshed (updated) with the new values that the WinCC Tags are taking. While this is happening, you can create a FoxBuilder Project to access the same TABLE, have the TAGS and represent them graphically, creating screens in an interactive and easy-to-use environment.
